Waiting rooms (Paul O達rien)

Wasted hours in waiting rooms

Listening to the same old tunes

Looking at a morning sickle moon

Lockets sever impatient queues

Shuffling on impatient shoes

Hoping we値l pull out soon

Looking up the times of trains

Destinations cryptic names

Wondering what痴 the lie and what is true

And every connection caught

Every ticket ever bought

I was hoping would take me back to you

Never though that anyone could

Sing that song like you

Breath for breath line for line

And every word is true

Wheels turn, wheels turn

And I知 rolling back to you

We pass along the Fingal coast

Harbour towns my childhood ghosts

Now the sun is breaking through

And rests on beaches where you played

Long before our plans were laid

Before I tuned my back on you

These viaducts and rivers crossed

Our battles won and banners lost

As we follow the Lagan river down

The painted gables and lamppost flags

Short skirts and shopping bags

Reminding me again I知 coming home

Never though that anyone could

Sing that song like you

Breath for breath line for line

And every word is true

Wheels turn, wheels turn

And I知 rolling back to you
